At Finger Lakes Health, we strive to provide high quality patient care every day. This means doing the right thing, at the right time, in the right way, for the right person and having the best possible outcomes.
Each day our clinical staff documents medical treatment in the patient medical record. This clinical care data is compiled quarterly and submitted to The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). CMS, a branch of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is a federal agency that oversees quality standards and reimbursements for care. The statistical data derived from these efforts, allow us to measure how our hospitals deliver recommended quality standards of care to patients as compared to other hospitals at local, state and national levels.
The transparency of our scores in the areas of heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, and stroke illustrate our dedication to accountability, ongoing improvement, and commitment to assuring our patients receive the best care available. Our commitment to providing the highest quality patient care and patient satisfaction is our utmost priority.
