Visit a Patient

Finger Lakes Health does not restrict, limit, or otherwise deny visitation privileges on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability. All visitors designated by the patient or the patient’s support person will enjoy full and equal visitation privileges.

The safety of our patients, family, visitors and staff is our number one priority at Finger Lakes Health.  Therefore, visitation may be limited or restricted when visitation would interfere with the care of the patient or when clinically appropriate. Health care professionals may exercise their best clinical judgment when determining when visitation is, and is not, appropriate

1. Visitors with visible signs of infections will be advised to refrain from visitation or be instructed to comply with recommended precautions.  If you have fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea, please avoid visiting patients.

2. Visitors will be instructed and are expected to comply with restrictions and precautions such as gloves and gowns related to patients in isolation. This is to ensure the safety of the visitors, patients, healthcare providers and all others within the facility.
