New Vision Students Present Check to Geneva General Child Care Center
The New Vision Medical Career Program students surprised the Geneva General Child Care Center’s director, Kathy Brown-Ryrko, the staff, and children with a check for $3,031 this week -- all funds raised from their annual garage sale. The New Vision students donated the money to the Child Care Center to purchase teaching and learning tools. This year’s sale was a 14% increase over last year’s record amount. In eight years the students have raised over $13,000 for the Child Care Center. The New Vision students organize this event in an effort to give back to their hundreds of Finger Lakes Health mentors.
