Living Centers North and South residents raise funds for Beverly Animal Shelter
The residents and staff of Living Centers North and South, a part of Finger Lakes Health, recently gathered to present nearly $200 in items and cash to the Beverly Animal Shelter. The residents and staff baked and sold dog treats with all proceeds going to the shelter, while New Vision Medical Career Program student, Anna Wood, gathered bottles and cans for the cause.

The idea came from resident Dorothy Berry, who wanted to organize an event that focused on helping an organization in the community. The staff chose to raise money for the Beverly Animal Shelter, a shelter that operates solely on donations from the public. The event culminated with a donation to the shelter and a party to celebrate the success.
