Marvin Serafino recognized for helping raise over $150,000
The Cardiac Rehab department at Geneva General Hospital, along with the Finger Lakes Health Foundation, recognized the volunteer work of Marvin Serafino by honoring him with a plaque presentation for helping to raise over $150,000 in the past 15 years for the “Keep Your Heart Up to Par” golf tournament.

Serafino, a former patient of the Cardiac Rehabilitation program, is credited with helping to establish the annual “Keep Your Heart Up to Par” golf tournament in 1997 and has played a major role in its success every year. The tournament celebrated its 15th year this August.

Frank Korich, Vice President and Site Administrator for Finger Lakes Health, presented Serafino with the plaque and thanked him for his 15 years of tireless work and his generous support of the annual tournament and his help with keeping “everyone’s heart up to par”.

Since its inception, over $150,000 has been raised to benefit the benefit the Geneva General Hospital Cardiac Rehab program scholarship fund which provides funds for financial assistance to Phase II cardiac rehabilitation participants, who are unable to meet the full cost of co-payments not covered by insurance.
