American Grilled Corn on the Cob

American Grilled Corn on the Cob

Ingredients Corn on the cob (still in the husk), at least one for everyone.
Large pot of water
Light margarine, no transfat
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions 1. Trim the silks off the ends. Do not husk.
2. Immerse corn cobs into water and let soak for 1 hour.
3. Heat grill.
4. Place corn on grill at medium high. Grill for 20-30 minutes. Turn cobs several times to prevent burning. The water soaked husks will steam the corn to perfection.
5. After 20 minutes, test corn by pulling down the husk and cutting off some kernels. The silks will come off cleanly.
6. Can hold the corn on a cooler part of the grill until meal is ready.
7. Serve with light margarine and salt and pepper to taste.
