Minor Shifts to Traffic Patterns Planned at Geneva General Hospital’s Main Entrance

Beginning April 15, there will be minor changes to vehicle and pedestrian traffic at Geneva General Hospital’s main entrance. The traffic lane for vehicles entering the main drive, at the intersection of North and Main Streets, will shift to the left-hand lane. This traffic will remain one-way traffic only. The drop-off zone at the main entrance will shift closer to North Street and continue to provide a convenient area for vehicles to drop off individuals.

The main entrance door will be re-routed slightly and create a direct walkway from Parking Lot 1 to the main lobby area. The exterior walkway from the Medical Office Building to the main entrance will remain unchanged.

We do not anticipate any disruptions in accessing the main entrance while these changes are taking place. These traffic pattern adjustments will allow exciting construction efforts to continue in the main lobby area of the hospital as part of the “Journey to the Best” Expansion and Modernization project. To learn more about the project, visit the hospital’s website at www.flhealth.org.
