FLH Physician Art Exhibit to Benefit Foundation
The public is invited to join in celebrating the first public art exhibition of Nitin Banwar, M.D., orthopedic surgeon and medical director of Joint Center of the Finger Lakes at Geneva General Hospital.

Titled “Mythologies and Cultures”, the exhibition will be on display May 2-30 at The Gallery at The Arts & Cultural Council, 277 North Goodman Street, Rochester. The opening reception will be from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, May 3. Additionally, there will be a “Meet the Artist” Reception from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 11.

Commenting on his artwork, Dr. Banwar said: “My profession as an orthopedic reconstructive surgeon has inspired a collaborative digital art inspired by biologically influenced industrial design.”

The Gallery at The Arts & Cultural Council is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday. For information, call (585) 473-4000 or visit www.artsrochester.org/metropolitan.

Proceeds from the sale of artwork in the exhibition will benefit the Finger Lakes Health Foundation, which supports the capital, programmatic and endowment programs of Finger Lakes Health and its entities.
