Join Finger Lakes Health for a FREE Cardiac Health Program in Dundee
In the United States, heart disease is the number one cause of premature death. Finger Lakes Health invites people who live and/or work in Dundee to participate in our free preventative health program. Finger Lakes Health’s “Cardiac PRE-hab” preview will be held Tuesday, Jan. 28 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Dundee Youth Center Community Room, 15/17 Main Street, Dundee. A healthy snack will be provided.

The program consists of one evening session presented by Dr. Joseph Gomez, chief of Cardiology at Finger Lakes Health. There is no cost to participate, but registration is required by Tuesday, Jan. 21. You may register online at www.flhealth.org/events. This program is made possible through a generous grant from The William G. McGowan Charitable Fund (www.mcgowanfund.org).

Finger Lakes Health’s “Cardiac PRE-hab” preview includes valuable information about:

• The heart and how it works

• Understanding cardiac diagnostic testing

• Fitness and nutrition

• Your risk factors for cardiac disease and how to prevent it

While the free preview is for one evening, participants are invited to sign-up for one of Finger Lakes Health’s full 10-week Cardiac PRE-hab courses being held in Yates, Ontario, and Seneca counties.

Those interested in participating, please call (315) 787-4012 or e-mail cardiacprehab@flhealth.org.
