Dine & Discuss Lecture Series Slated
Finger Lakes Health’s Spring Dine & Discuss lecture series includes three programs. Each program will include a full meal and the discussion for $10 per person.

On Wednesday, May 3, Amanda Carpenter, M.D., board-certified dermatologist, will present “What’s on My Skin - Can it Stay or Should it Go?”. Join Dr. Carpenter to learn about some of those mystery lesions on your skin. She will explain the things you can look for to help you determine when it is time to see a dermatologist. The 6 p.m. program will be held at the Ramada Inn-Geneva Lakefront. Reservation deadline is 5 p.m. April 28.

On Wednesday, May 17, the Finger Lakes Health Gastroenterology team will present: “GI Cancers: What You Need to Know”. The 6 p.m. program will be held at the Clifton Springs Country Club; please note the venue includes stairs. The providers, Angel Diaz, M.D., Henry LeGuyader, M.D., Christine Yu, M.D., Christine Wille, ANP, and Brandee Burley, PA-C, will discuss screening for colorectal cancer and Barrett’s Esophagus. Reservation deadline is 5 p.m., May 12.

On Tuesday, May 23, Elizabeth Loycano, DPT, will present “Women’s Pelvic Floor Health and the Role of Physical Therapy”. This will be a noon presentation and will take place at Club 86 in Geneva. Loycano will discuss what the pelvic floor is and what it does. Come learn the role of these muscles and how physical therapy can help treat urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, two conditions that affect many women. Reservation deadline is 5 p.m., May 19.
