Free High School Physical Therapy Outreach Program
Finger Lakes Health Rehabilitation Services has created a free high school outreach program of lectures that focus on educating athletes, coaches, and parents on a wide range of topics relating to preventing sports injuries.

Finger Lakes Health Rehabilitation Services is dedicated to maintaining and improving the health of the communities that we serve. Our team of highly trained therapists is a committed group of individuals with different specialties who want to help athletes in our community stay doing what they love to do…play sports. “Our therapists currently provide rehabilitation services to some of the top collegiate athletes in the area and would like to bring this training and knowledge to our high school athletes” states Maureen Loyal, director of rehabilitation services.

These topics may include but are not limited to the following:
• ACL injury prevention
• Common sports specific injuries and prevention
• Concussion
• Female health in the young athlete
• Sports nutrition

As a collaborator with the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine’s STOP program, Finger Lakes Health has access to the most up-to-date, evidence based information on the prevention of sports specific injuries.

To schedule a free lecture for your athletes, coaches and parents, or for more information on the different educational series available, please call FLH Rehabilitation department at (315) 787-4570 or by email at
