Mobile Meals Volunteers Needed in Geneva
Geneva General Hospital is looking for regularly scheduled volunteers for its Mobile Meals program. Volunteers typically choose one day a week to be scheduled.

Deliveries are made in the City and Town of Geneva, Monday through Friday, year round, excluding major holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.) A two-person delivery team arrives at the hospital at 10 a.m. and the route takes approximately 1-2 hours, depending on the number of recipients. Drivers provide their own cars and must have a valid NYS driver’s license (mileage is tax deductible.) Servers take the meal to the door.

The Mobile Meals program provides two nutritious meals each delivery day as well as personal contact for people whom otherwise might become isolated in their own homes. For more information about how to become a volunteer call Christen Smith in the Community Services department at Geneva General Hospital, (315) 787-4065.
