All Diabetes Programs are Recognized by the American Association of Diabetes Educators as Meeting the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education

Individual Diabetes Education & Counseling:  Available for: Adults, Children, Individuals with Gestational Diabetes, Individuals needing Insulin Pump Therapy Training and/or Continuous Glucose Monitoring (Personal & Professional).

Comprehensive Diabetes Education Course "Living With Diabetes":  An 8-hour course for adults with diabetes, their families, caregivers and support persons. Lunch and all class materials supplied at no charge. Pre-registration is required. Call Central Scheduling at 315-787-4555 or register online at Calendar of Events. Medicare insurance requires physician referral which can be handled by the diabetes office. Program cost is covered by most insurances.

Diabetes Support Groups:  Free monthly (except December) meetings held at Geneva General Hospital and in Penn Yan at St. Mark's Senior Living Apartments.  Meetings are open to the public, walk-ins welcome - no registration required. Monthly topic film, discusssion, recipe and food tasting. See Calendar of Events for date/time and topic schedule.

Diabetes Awareness Community Outreach:  Instructional staff are available for community and industrial worksite group presentations upon request. Call 315-787-4006 for information or to schedule your event.
