Finger Lakes Health Primary Care in Geneva to Host Pediatric Open House Sept 15
September 3, 2026
GENEVA — Families are invited to celebrate the introduction of dedicated pediatric services at Finger Lakes Health Primary Care in Geneva at an open house on Tuesday, Sept. 15, from 5pm to 7pm.
Families will have the opportunity to learn more about the practice, meet members of the pediatric care team and enjoy refreshments, giveaways and activities for children.
The pediatric team is led by highly respected and well-known pediatrician, Grace Freier, MD, as medical director. She is joined by Marissa Rice, MD, CLC and Aparna Peri, MD.
Board-certified pediatrician Dr. Rice most recently practiced as a pediatrician at Boston Children’s Hospital and Atrius Health in Concord, Mass. She completed her pediatrics residency at Boston Children’s Hospital and earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a certified lactation counselor (CLC).
Dr. Peri completed her pediatrics residency at Goryeb Children’s Hospital-Atlantic Health Care System, Morristown, NJ and earned her medical degree from St. George’s University, Grenada. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
As part of the event, Geneva Reads will join the celebration and provide books for children to take home, helping promote the importance of reading and healthy development.
The addition of pediatric services provides families with convenient access to high-quality care while connecting them to the resources and expertise of University of Rochester Medicine. Families also have access to MyChart, which makes it easier to schedule appointments, communicate with providers, review test results and manage their child's healthcare online.
The pediatric practice is currently located on the second floor of the medical office building on the Geneva General Hospital campus. A dedicated pediatric office on the first floor is planned following extensive renovations.
Families are encouraged to stop by the Pediatric Open House on Sept. 15 to meet the team, enjoy refreshments and giveaways, and pick up a book from Geneva Reads.

The expansion of pediatric services in Geneva is part of University of Rochester Medicine Finger Lakes Health’s ongoing efforts to expand access to care throughout the Finger Lakes region, ensuring families can receive the care they need, where they need it most.
