Acute Physical Rehabilitation
Our 15-bed unit was established in 1997 at Geneva General Hospital. Our mission is to provide functionally oriented programs which value interdisciplinary teamwork to help patients achieve their fullest potential for return to an independent lifestyle.
The inpatient program serves individuals 18 years or older who have experienced a disabling injury, illness or surgery. Diagnosis and rehab problems may include stroke, amputation, hip fractures and neurologic conditions.
The Acute Rehabilitation Unit resides on the ground floor of Geneva General Hospital with its own entrance, and includes a therapy area conveniently located next to our nursing unit.
