General Surgeon Kristin S. Baltazar-Ford, M.D. Receives Board Certification

Kristin S. Baltazar-Ford, M.D. of Geneva General Surgical Associates recently became Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery.




The American Board of Surgery is an independent, nonprofit organization founded in 1937 to assess the qualifications of individuals in the field of surgery. Not all surgeons are board certified. Board certification by the ABS is a voluntary process that demonstrates a surgeon's commitment to professionalism, lifelong learning, and quality patient care. Surgeons certified by the ABS have completed at least five years of residency training following medical school, met all ABS training requirements, and successfully completed a comprehensive ABS examination process.




Dr. Baltazar-Ford attended medical school at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, and completed her residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY. She is seeing patients at Geneva General Surgical Associates, 200 North Street, Suite 203 in Geneva, NY and at 418 North Main Street in Penn Yan.
