Marion S. Whelan School of Practical Nursing (MSWSPN) is excited to announce that they have been named in the Top 3 Licensed Practical Nursing schools in New York State.

New York has more than 65 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) schools in the state, varying from community colleges to private nursing schools, with other offerings in between. Rankings are based on NCLEX-PN exam passing rates. The NCLEX-PN exam is used by state boards of nursing around the country for testing proficiency and granting licensure. Many state boards of nursing use the combined NCLEX-PN exam pass rates for each school as one of the primary ways to approve or deny a school's ability to provide practical and vocational nursing education.

“I am thrilled that MSWSPN has been named as one of the top 3 LPN schools in New York state with an overall score of 100.00. This is a true testament to the dedication and commitment of both our faculty and students” states Dean of Finger Lakes Health College of Nursing Victoria Record, Ed.D., MS, RN.

The Marion S. Whelan School of Practical Nursing, one of only three hospital-based nursing programs in New York State, was founded in 1956. Since that time, it has graduated over 1,600 nurses. For more information please call (315) 787-4005 or visit http://mswspn.com
