The Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is conducting a drawing for two beautiful collector dolls and a collectible bear graciously donated by Midge Fryer. The dolls can be viewed in the Peppermint Parlor at the Hospital, 418 North Main Street, Penn Yan.
Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5 and are available at the Peppermint Parlor at Soldiers & Sailors, from members of the Auxiliary and volunteers at Soldiers & Sailors, or from the Community Services office at the Hospital (315-531-2053). The drawing will be held Thursday, March 29.
The person whose ticket is drawn first will get first choice of dolls or the bear; the second ticket holder drawn will get second choice and the third ticket the remaining doll or bear.
The Mary Had a Little Lamb doll is from Pittsburgh Originals’ Classic Childhood Companion Collection. Mary was made in America and is a limited edition accompanied by a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.
Little Bo Peep is the first issue in the Wendy Lawton Nursery Rhymes collection produced under the hallmark of the Ashton-Drake Galleries.
Victoria is one of the three bears in a series called the “Hat Series” by Jaymar Creations. She is a pink-tipped girl made of luxurious 100% German Mohair adorned with a beautiful hat, stylized with a colorful ribbon and accent pieces.
Proceeds from the drawing will be used by the Auxiliary to support projects at the Hospital and Homestead.
