Dr. Chibuikem “Dr. Chibu” Akamnonu, orthopaedic surgeon from Interlakes Orthopaedic Surgery, will present “Lumbar Spine Surgery: Understanding your Diagnosis and Recent Advancements in Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery” on Thursday April 4, at 5:30 p.m. The presentation will be held at the New York Kitchen, 800 South Main Street, Canandaigua.
Prior to considering spine surgery, the most important predictor of a good outcome is establishing the proper diagnosis. Low back pain is one of the most common reasons people see their physician. Simply having chronic back pain is not the sole reason for having back surgery; knowing and understanding your specific diagnosis is the key to a successful outcome.
The program will include a full meal and the lecture for $20 per person. To reserve a seat, please call (315) 787-4636. Reservations and payment are required and must be made by Friday, March 29, 5 p.m.
Chibuikem “Dr. Chibu” Akamnonu, M.D., is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
