Jeff Morgan has been named treasurer and chief financial officer for Finger Lakes Health. The appointment was announced by Jose Acevedo, M.D., MBA, President and CEO of Finger Lakes Health.

Morgan has over 17 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer in an acute care hospital and multi-hospital settings. He most recently worked for Brooks­-TLC Hospital System in Dunkirk, NY, where he served for five years as the Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, he held various executive positions in healthcare finance.

Morgan received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami, Coral Cables, FL. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL and his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Fellow of both the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Jeff and wife Kelly live in Fredonia currently but will be relocating to the Geneva area with their Dachshund Oscar.

Finger Lakes Health is a community-owned not-for-profit health system that provides a full range of acute and long-term care health services to residents of the Finger Lakes region in Upstate New York. Services are provided on three campuses located in Geneva, NY (Ontario County), Waterloo, NY (Seneca County) and Penn Yan, NY (Yates County). The 660-bed health system is governed by a common Board of Directors and is served by a common management team. The health system offers a broad range of primary, specialty and sub-specialty services to residents of the Finger Lakes region.
