GENEVA- Three UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health employees have been recognized with the Distinguished Values Award for the fourth quarter of 2025. The Distinguished Values Award program selects employees every quarter for the honor. The honorees are selected from three categories: Hospital, Long Term Care, and Physician Network. These staff members are selected for consistently demonstrating organizational values and exceeding their job requirements. The awards are granted in recognition of those employees who demonstrate professionalism and serve as role models within UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health. The selected honorees for the fourth quarter of 2025 are Kara Brown, Surgery Scheduler, Geneva General Surgical Associates - the Physician Network honoree; Tameka Nelson, CNA, Unit II, Huntington Living Center - the Long-Term Care honoree; and Amanda Kula, Coordinator, Nuclear Medicine Geneva General Hospital - the Hospital Honoree.

 

All Finger Lakes Health Employees of the Quarter are eligible for the Employee of the Year honor. This award is announced in May each year at Finger Lakes Health’s annual Employee Recognition event, held in conjunction with National Hospital and Nursing Home Week.
