UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health employees, alongside members of the community, marked Presidents Day with special flag-raising ceremonies across its three main campuses: Geneva General Hospital, Huntington Living Center, and Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital.

The ceremonies honored the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States and reflected on the shared values that have shaped both the nation and Finger Lakes Health as the community’s healthcare system.

“These new flags invite us to remember the courage, dedication, and teamwork that built our country,” said Jose Acevedo, MD, MBA, President and CEO of UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health. “As the community healthcare system for our region, we see those same values every day, caring for our neighbors, working together, and making a difference in people’s lives.”

Dr. Acevedo added, “Happy 250th birthday to the United States of America. Together, let’s continue building strong, healthy communities and making a difference today and for generations to come.”Bottom of Form
