Finger Lakes Health Promotes Kim Coffey to Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Compliance Officer

Geneva – Finger Lakes Health is pleased to announce the promotion of Kim Coffey to Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Compliance Officer, effective February 25, 2026.
Coffey brings over four decades of dedicated service to Finger Lakes Health, most recently serving as Assistant Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Compliance Officer, with responsibilities at both Geneva General Hospital and Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital. Throughout her tenure, she has demonstrated incredible leadership, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the mission and values of Finger Lakes Health.
As Vice President, Coffey provides executive leadership for corporate affairs and compliance while overseeing corporate governance initiatives across the health system. She works closely with executive leadership and the Board of Directors, where she has earned widespread respect for her expertise, and sound judgement. Her deep organizational knowledge and commitment to regulatory excellence have made her a trusted leader system wide. “Kim’s leadership, expertise, and dedication have been instrumental to our organization for decades,” said Jose Acevedo, MD, MBA, President and CEO of Finger Lakes Health.
Coffey began her career with Finger Lakes Health in 1985 and has since advanced through key leadership roles, including her appointment by the board as Corporate Compliance Officer in 2013. Over the years, she has played a vital role in strengthening board governance and supporting regulatory compliance across both hospitals, nursing homes, and physician practices, all while collaborating with internal departments and external community members.
Coffey holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Nazareth College, Rochester, NY, and an Associate Degree from Endicott College, Beverly, MA. She is Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and is a member of several organizations including the Health Care Compliance Association, American College of Healthcare Executives, and the Medical Group Management Association. In addition to her professional achievements, she has been involved in the community, once serving on the Board of Directors for United Way of Ontario County and the Canandaigua Knights Youth Hockey organization.
