GENEVA — University of Rochester Medicine Finger Lakes Health is transitioning to a new electronic health record system, eRecord, and the MyChart patient portal beginning November 1, 2026. As part of this transition, our patient portal for our primary and specialty care practices will be retired effective October 24, 2026.

In addition, on October 16, on-line appointment scheduling will be paused until November 1, 2026, with the exception of Urgent Care. After November 1, patients can schedule appointments online with MyChart.
Beginning November 1, patients can use MyChart to connect with their healthcare team and access available health information and services.

Some MyChart features are already available, with full functionality beginning November 1. To sign up for MyChart, visit UR Medicine MyChart - Main Login or mychart.urmc.rochester.edu.

Patients who currently use a primary care or specialty practice patient portal should plan ahead, as access to all existing portals will end October 24. After that date, patients will no longer be able to use these portals to request prescription refills, message their providers or review past information.

All medical records will be transferred; however patients who need copies of their medical records during the transition may visit the Medical Records Department at Geneva General Hospital Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., through January 3, 2027.
