Penn Yan — Soldiers and Sailors Health Center is pleased to welcome Madison Hill, DO, to its medical staff. Dr. Hill joins the practice of Drs. Robert Anderson and Vy Le, alongside nurse practitioners Marlene Comfort, A-GNP-C, and Wendy Hill, ANP, PNP—who is also Dr. Hill’s mother.

Dr. Hill is proud to continue her family’s tradition of healthcare service in Penn Yan.

“I’m really looking forward to working alongside and learning from my mom and the whole team,” she said.

A third-generation Penn Yan native, Dr. Hill’s roots run deep. Her grandfather, known as Doc Jensen, was a general surgeon who also practiced at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital. Now, she brings her own experience in family medicine back to the community she has always called home.

“In family medicine, it’s so important to establish a rapport with your patients,” Dr. Hill noted. “I’m excited to practice medicine in a community that I know and love.”

Dr. Hill completed her Family Medicine Residency at UPMC Williamsport Family Medicine Residency in Williamsport, PA. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.

She is a member of both the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association, as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.

When she isn’t practicing medicine, Dr. Hill enjoys hiking and spending time on the lake with friends and family.
