Pickleball for Health! Raises Over $3,000 for Geneva General Hospital

Geneva, NY — The Finger Lakes Health Foundation and the Friends of Geneva General Hospital teamed up for a spirited day of pickleball, fundraising, and community fun, on the courts at Geneva High School on Saturday, October 18. The event raised more than $3,000 to benefit the Hospital.

Proceeds from the event will help fund the purchase and installation of new, state-of-the-art X-ray equipment at the hospital, enhancing diagnostic capabilities and improving patient care for the entire community.

A morning clinic hosted by Canandaigua’s new indoor pickleball venue In a Pickle was followed by informal play. Competition ramped up in the afternoon with a tournament for intermediate and advanced players coordinated by Lyons Pickleball Club. Winners earned trophies, while second and third place finishers took home medals.

“Pickleball for Health! was a true partnership between community organizations and local businesses.
