GENEVA- University of Rochester Medicine Finger Lakes Health honored employees for their years of service and recognized outstanding achievements during its annual Employee Recognition Dinner on May 12 at Club 86 in Geneva.
The health system celebrated 16 employees who retired in the past year, representing a combined 326 years of service to the community. Members of the administrative team recognized employees reaching milestone service anniversaries, ranging from 5 to 45 years with Finger Lakes Health.
The Morton Orlov, M.D. Education Award was presented to eight employees who completed degree programs within the past 12 months, recognizing their commitment to professional growth through the organization’s Education Assistance Programs.
The organization also presented two of its highest honors: the James J. Dooley Leadership Excellence Award and the Employee of the Year Award.
Finger Lakes Health awarded the James J. Dooley Leadership Excellence Award to Maura Delehanty, MSOL, RN recognizing her excellence in combining strategic vision, operational excellence and unwavering commitment to staff engagement and patient care.
Delehanty joined the Finger Lakes Health team as Director of Critical Care two years ago and in a short time strengthened multiple departments, improved workforce stability, and enhanced the overall culture of care at Finger Lakes Health. Her accomplishments reflect not only exceptional leadership skills but also a deep commitment to the mission and values of our health system.
The organization named Lab Coordinator, Chase Weber, as Employee of the Year. Weber earned the honor for consistently exceeding expectations and exemplifying organizational values.
He is highly respected by physicians, colleagues, and partners across the organization, and committed to exceptional customer service, consistently going above and beyond, offering support to colleagues and maintaining a positive attitude.
Weber was selected from 12 Employees of the Quarter recognized throughout 2025. The program highlights individuals whose performance consistently surpasses job expectations and reflects the organization’s core values.
