URochester Medicine Finger Lakes Health Recognizes CNA Graduates

GENEVA-University of Rochester Medicine Finger Lakes Health proudly congratulates the July 2026 graduates of its Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program:

Finger Lakes Health offers a paid CNA Training Program, approved by the New York State Department of Health. The program includes 138 hours of classroom, lab, and clinical instruction, delivered Monday through Friday over the course of four weeks. Upon completion, students are eligible to take the state certification exams.
CNAs often use this program as a steppingstone to advance their healthcare careers. Many continue their education, becoming licensed practical nurses (LPNs) or registered nurses (RNs).
Employment opportunities are currently available at the Geneva Living Centers, The Homestead in Penn Yan, Huntington Living Center in Waterloo as well as many other long-term care facilities.
To support new CNAs, Finger Lakes Health is offering a $2,000 hiring bonus. Transportation assistance for those training in Geneva and working at The Homestead in Penn Yan ($125/week) and Huntington Living Center in Waterloo ($75/week).
