Urologist Herik Acosta, MD, PhD Joins Geneva General Hospital Medical Staff

GENEVA- Urologist Herik Acosta, MD, PhD has recently joined the medical staff of Geneva General Hospital and is seeing patients at UR Medicine Urology-Geneva, located at 293 W. North Street in Geneva. He will be performing surgery at Geneva General Hospital.

Dr. Acosta integrates advanced surgical techniques with the latest minimally invasive technologies, prioritizing a patient-centered approach. He specializes in the management of urinary tract stones, general urologic oncology, and cancer care and treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Dr. Acosta completed his Urologic Oncology, Robotic Surgery Fellowship at HCA Kendall Regional Hospital/Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, Fla., and training in Urology Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. He completed his Urology Residency at National University of Asuncion, Paraguay, and earned his medical degree from the National University of Asuncion, Paraguay.
