Rehab & Senior Services
Finger Lakes Health's Rehabilitation Services are available at Geneva General Hospital, Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital and Huntington Living Center. These services are an important part of the recovery process for injury, illness or surgery. Our rehabilitation services consist of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech pathology. Our Garnsey Rehabilitation Center in Geneva also includes a vestibular program for the treatment of vertigo, balance problems or frequent falls. Among our professional clinical staff is a Board Certified specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy, one of only 18 in New York State.
Finger Lakes Health's Long Term Care Division is committed to nurturing the human spirit, while providing high quality medical, nursing and rehabilitative long term care services in a caring and comfortable setting that promotes independence, honors individuality and enhances quality of life.
In addition to traditional Skilled Nursing services, we provide Transitional Care, Short-Term Rehabilitation, Special Needs (Alzheimer's), Cognitively Impaired, Respite (short-term stay) and Adult Day Health Services programs.
Health care services at all our long term care facilities are organized and delivered through a plan of care individually developed for each resident, combining the efforts of the attending physician with nursing and other disciplines such as pharmacy, physical therapy, dietary, social work and activities.
