Urologist Herik Acosta, MD, PhD has recently joined the medical staff of Geneva General Hospital and is seeing patients at UR Medicine Urology-Geneva, located at 293 W. North Street in Geneva. He will be performing surgery at Geneva General Hospital.

Dr. Acosta integrates advanced surgical techniques with the latest minimally invasive technologies, prioritizing a patient-centered approach. He specializes in the management of urinary tract stones, general urologic oncology, and cancer care and treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia..  At the Finger Lakes Surgery Center we utilize shock waves to break up stones using a Lithotripsy machine that can be found in the kidney, bladder or ureter.  The painful stones can then be passed in your urine.
