Orthopaedic Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is seeking a dedicated Orthopaedic Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will collaborate closely with orthopaedic surgeons and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care in both clinic and, if applicable, surgical settings. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, assisting in surgical procedures, providing pre- and post-operative care, ordering and interpreting imaging and labs, developing treatment plans, performing procedures such as joint injections, splinting, and casting, educating patients on recovery and prevention, and maintaining accurate documentation. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited NP or PA program with current state licensure, national certification, and DEA license (or eligibility); prior orthopaedic or related experience is preferred. Ideal applicants will have strong clinical and communication skills, experience with fracture care and musculoskeletal imaging, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Pay Range: $115,000-$135,000. Physician Assistant (Surgical 1st Assistant)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our Surgical team at UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health. The ideal will be comfortable as a First Assist in the OR and supporting pre- and post-operative care in the clinic setting.
Position Overview:
The Physician Assistant will work closely with our Chief of Surgery, Vascular and Oncology Surgeons in the operating room, acting as First Assist, and will also participate in clinic responsibilities, including pre-operative evaluations, post-operative follow-up, assist with inpatient rounding as needed, and coordinating communication with referring and primary care providers to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Current Physician Assistant license in NYS
- National Certification (NCCPA)
- Valid DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Physician Assistant – Urgent Care, Per Diem
Finger Lakes Health is looking for per diem Physician Assistants to join us as we expand access to care in Penn Yan and the surrounding communities. This position has a minimum of two (2) shifts per month requirement. Qualifications include Board Certification, & NYS License. Pay Range: $80.00 an hour for weekday shifts and $87.50 an hour for weekend shifts.
